Hidden Dock Engagement Session in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Hey there, fellow adventure-seekers and chasers of love! Today, I'm thrilled to share an incredible engagement session experience I had in the charming city of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, which also happens to be my hometown! Brace yourselves for a tale of romance, nostalgia, and the discovery of a secret location that made the day truly unforgettable.

As a professional photographer, I always strive to create unique and memorable moments for my clients. When I stumbled upon a hidden dock on the Murfreesboro Greenway during my  explorations as a feral, heathen child about 15 years ago, I never would have imagined this location turning from a place I used to escape, to a place I shared to create.

The Murfreesboro Greenway, a picturesque trail that meanders along the banks of the river, has always held a special place in my heart. Its natural beauty, lush foliage, and serene ambiance create an ideal setting for any outdoor activity (including for skipping school - sorry, mom!). But hidden away from the well-trodden path lies a gem that only a few lucky individuals, particularly fishermen, are privy to.

I never recommend a location without checking it out for myself, though, so with a sense of excitement and nostalgia, I ventured back to that spot, this time with my new family in tow, hoping it hadn't changed too much over the years. Yet there it was, completely unchanged as if it had been waiting for me all this time – the little-known dock that had been such a refuge to me so long ago. It was the perfect spot for an intimate engagement session, surrounded by nature's embrace and the gentle whispers of the river.

With the approval of my clients, Kae and Sam, we embarked on a quest to capture their love story against this hidden backdrop. The air was filled with laughter and anticipation as we approached the secret dock, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, casting a warm glow on the tranquil waters below.

As Kae and Sam exchanged loving glances, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for having stumbled upon this hidden treasure all those years ago. The dock served as a stage where their affectionate moments unfolded naturally, as if the location itself was whispering sweet nothings into their ears.
